A legendary celebration for the Asian champions in Jeddah

In a grand celebratory scene, Jeddah was filled with the scent of glory and achievement as Saudi club Al-Ahli celebrated its historic first-ever AFC Champions League title on Monday evening, amid a large crowd and cheers that filled the stands. The celebration, organized by the Ministry of Sports in cooperation with Jeddah Season, crowned Al-Ahli's thrilling 2-0 victory over Japan's Kawasaki Frontale in the match held at the Jewel Stadium last Saturday. Saudi Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, congratulated Al-Ahli on this continental achievement. He also extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, praising their continued support for Saudi sports. He added, "The sporting achievements we have achieved are thanks to God first, and then to the support of the wise leadership. Today, we celebrate Al-Ahli's achievement, which not only represents the club, but also adorns the nation's sports record." From the heart of the event, Algerian star Riyad Mahrez, Al Ahly's icon, appeared with his usual smile and words that ignited the stands, reminding the fans of a promise he made a year ago. "I promised you the continental title, and here we are celebrating together with the Asian Elite Cup," Mahrez said enthusiastically, before adding a new promise that shook the celebrations: "Next season, the league is ours!" It was a night that will remain etched in the memories of Al-Ahly fans, not only because it was the culmination of a continental achievement, but also because it encapsulated dreams and pride in a single moment, amidst a new promise that carries with it excitement and ambition for an upcoming season that cannot be divided by two.
