Zizo's first comment after Zamalek's training

Zamalek and Egypt national team star Ahmed Mostafa "Zizo" returned to training with the White Castle after a long absence of several weeks, marking his first appearance since his absence from training. Sunday's training session saw Zizo surprise attendance, training alone after his long absence. In statements to MBC MASR2, Zizo confirmed that he is "at the disposal of the Egyptian club Zamalek in anything," noting that he is fully committed to everything the club requests until the last day of his contract with the team, which expires at the end of the current season. He added, "I am ready to stay with Zamalek until the last moment of my contract." Despite Zizo's positive statements, the atmosphere at Zamalek remains tense due to the failure to reach an agreement between the player and the club's management to renew his contract, due to a dispute over his annual salary. The White Castle is suffering from uncertainty regarding the player's future, in light of the financial crisis the club is experiencing and the failure to agree on the terms of the extension. In another development, the Zamalek management filed an official complaint against Zizo to the Football Association's Disciplinary Committee for his absence from training and failure to comply with the club's decision to attend the investigation following a financial fine imposed on him. In turn, Zizo sent a warning to the Zamalek management demanding his overdue financial dues, further complicating the relationship between the two parties. Zizo's name had recently been linked with a move to Al Ahly of Egypt after the end of his contract with Zamalek, which made many fans of the White Castle anticipate his future with the team in light of the current crisis. It is worth noting that Zizo's last match with Zamalek was against South Africa's Stellenbosch in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals.
