Top EPL Players in Fierce Race for Premier League Player of the Month

The Premier League announced on Thursday the shortlist for the Player of the Month award for April 2025, which includes seven players who delivered outstanding performances during last month’s matches and significantly contributed to their teams' results.

Leading the list is Algerian left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri (Wolverhampton), who played in five matches—all victories for his team—scoring one goal and providing two assists.

Also on the list is Newcastle’s star Harvey Barnes, who impressed with four goals and two assists in six matches.

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister continued his fine form, scoring two goals and assisting one in five matches, playing a key role in Liverpool's title-winning campaign.

Another standout was Jacob Murphy of Newcastle United, who scored three goals and provided three assists in six games.

The shortlist also includes Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, who demonstrated top-level performance by assisting four goals and scoring once, helping Villa maintain their winning streak.

Additionally, Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon and Wolverhampton’s Norwegian striker Jørgen Strand Larsen also made the shortlist.
