Newcastle player on Real Madrid's radar

Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali is reportedly on Real Madrid's radar to bolster their midfield during the summer transfer window. Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Real Madrid have identified Tonali as one of their options to bolster their squad next season, sparking speculation about a potential move to the Santiago Bernabéu. The Telegraph reported that Tonali intends to remain at Newcastle in return for the support he received from the club during his suspension, noting that he is ignoring rumors of interest from Juventus and other Italian clubs. Newcastle believes Tonali will remain at the club, as they doubt the ability of Italian clubs to make a convincing offer to negotiate a sale. The 24-year-old Tonali joined Newcastle United from AC Milan in the summer of 2023 for approximately €59 million. His contract with the English team runs until the summer of 2028. Since joining Newcastle, Tonali has made 53 appearances in various competitions, scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists.
