Saudi Club Al Ittihad Tables Huge Bid for Leroy Sane Transfer

German media has revealed that Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane has received a massive offer from Saudi club Al Ittihad to join their squad during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to Germany’s Kicker magazine, the Saudi offer included a four-year contract worth €100 million — €25 million per year — making it one of the biggest offers the player has received in his career.

Despite the lucrative financial incentives, Sane rejected the offer, affirming that he does not wish to leave Bayern Munich at this time. He expressed that he feels comfortable with the team and living in the city. He also stated that his ambitions remain focused on winning the UEFA Champions League and the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) with the Bavarian club.

The magazine added that Sane is expected to sign a new contract with Bayern Munich that would extend until 2028. However, the new deal would include a reduction in his annual salary from €20 million to approximately €10 million, with potential earnings rising to between €14 and €16 million when bonuses and incentives are included.
