Real Madrid contacts Klopp to succeed Ancelotti!

Spanish press reports revealed that Real Madrid has contacted former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp twice recently amid uncertainty surrounding the future of coach Carlo Ancelotti. According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, the club has already begun searching for a potential replacement for Ancelotti, who could be sacked either now or at the end of the current season. While Xabi Alonso was considered an option, Real Madrid is paying particular attention to the former Liverpool manager due to his extensive experience managing major clubs. Klopp has a proven track record in leading teams such as Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool and is considered a strong personality capable of dealing with stars and the dressing room, a quality Xabi Alonso currently cannot offer. Real Madrid has contacted Klopp twice in an attempt to ascertain his position on returning to coaching next summer. Although the German coach is currently taking a break from coaching as president of football operations for the Red Bull Group, reports indicate that Real Madrid has him at the top of their list of priorities. Previous reports had suggested Klopp might be open to a return to coaching at Real Madrid, but his agent recently denied these rumors, stating that the German coach is happy in his current position.
