The Disciplinary Committee rejects Al-Wahda's protest against Al-Nassr

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation's Disciplinary and Ethics Committee has decided to reject the protest filed by Al-Wehda Club against Al-Nassr Club, regarding the late arrival of Al-Nassr to attend the match between the two teams, which took place on February 25, 2025, as part of the Saudi Roshen League competitions. The committee explained in its decision that Al-Wehda Club did not adhere to the required formal procedures in accordance with Article (137/2/1) of the Disciplinary and Ethics Regulations, which necessitated the formal rejection of the protest. The Appeals Committee had issued its decision on March 25, 2025, based on the appeal submitted by Al-Wehda, where it decided to cancel the previous decision of the Disciplinary Committee and return the case for reconsideration. However, after the committee reviewed the reasons for the appeal, it became clear that there was no justification for amending the decision, which prompted it to issue its final decision to reject the protest. The committee also confirmed that its decision is subject to appeal in accordance with Article (144) of the Disciplinary and Ethics Regulations, allowing Al-Wehda Club to take new legal steps if it wishes to appeal the decision.
