Bundesliga: Injured Kingsley Coman to miss Bayern Munich's final match of 2021

Bayern Munich announced that the French international winger, Kingsley Coman, will miss Bayern Munich's final match of the year at home against strugglers Wolfsburg on Friday after picking up a leg injury. Koeman left the pitch after just 27 minutes due to an injury, and was replaced by German Leroy Sane. The Bavarian club said on its website: "Our player Koeman underwent after participating in the Stuttgart match and it was found that the Frenchman had a rupture torn muscle fibre in his right thigh". Bayern indicated that Koeman will not be with the team, in its last matches during 2021, as the Bavarian club will face its Wolfsburg counterpart, next Friday, in the seventeenth round of the German League. Bayern Munich will stop playing for more than two weeks, as the team will have a winter break, and resume its matches on January 7, 2022, when it will encounter Borussia Monchengladbach at the Allianz Arena.
