Real Madrid monitoring Liverpool star

Press reports have revealed that Argentine Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has become a target for Real Madrid during the upcoming summer transfer window, as the club seeks to bolster its midfield, especially following the retirement of German star Toni Kroos at the end of last season. Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Mac Allister's name is beginning to emerge strongly within the Santiago Bernabéu, where he is viewed as one of the players capable of providing the required contribution in midfield, thanks to his outstanding performances and consistent performances for Liverpool this season. The newspaper explained that Real Madrid's management is carefully considering the possibility of signing a midfielder from a club at the top of the English Premier League, and is debating whether Mac Allister is the ideal choice to meet the needs of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, especially given the inconsistent performance of the midfield this season. For his part, Mac Allister's father commented on the rumors linking his son to Real Madrid, saying in statements to an Argentine channel: "I don't think he will leave Liverpool at the moment. He is very happy there, and lives in Manchester in the same building as Robertson and Gomez. He is comfortable and completely integrated into the atmosphere, and he speaks fluent English, which has made it very easy for him to adapt." Alexis Mac Allister, 26, joined Liverpool in the summer of 2023 from Brighton in a deal worth €42 million. Since his arrival, he has made 90 appearances in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists.
