Al Hilal plans to sign Inter coach

Saudi club Al Hilal is turning its attention to Italian football in search of a new coach to lead the team in the next phase, amid growing speculation about the future of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus. Saudi media reports, citing journalist Khaled Al-Shenaif, indicate that Al-Hilal has made a verbal offer to Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, the technical director of Inter Milan, to lead the team starting next summer, specifically with the start of the Club World Cup. Al-Shenaif quoted statements by La Gazzetta dello Sport editor-in-chief Alberto Cerutti, who confirmed that Inzaghi is one of the names strongly considered by Al-Hilal, but that his final approval will depend on his team's performances this season, particularly in the Italian league and the Champions League. In the same context, Cerutti indicated that another Italian name stands out on Al Hilal's list of options: Massimiliano Allegri, the former Juventus coach, who is also attracting interest from the club. However, he added that Allegri's position will remain pending until the offers he may receive from Italian league clubs become clear.
