Interesting facts you shouldn't miss before the Manchester derby

Manchester United will face their neighbors, Manchester City, in a tough derby match scheduled for Sunday evening in the English Premier League at Old Trafford. Manchester City has a distinguished record against the Red Devils, as they have achieved more away wins against Manchester United in Premier League competitions than any other team. Five of City's nine wins at Old Trafford have come under Pep Guardiola, the most by any visiting manager in the history of the competition. However, Manchester United have recently shown a strong presence in this historic encounter, managing to destabilize their traditional rivals. The team is unbeaten in its last three meetings with City in all competitions (won two and drew one), its longest unbeaten run against Manchester City since the period between January 2010 and February 2011 (four consecutive matches). The Red Devils are also seeking to win both league matches against Manchester City in a single season for the first time since the 2019-20 season, having won the first leg away from home this season. The away side has won 10 of the last 18 Premier League meetings between the two teams (D2 L6), and since the 2015-2016 season, only Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool (12 away wins) has had more away wins in the Premier League.
