Arsenal prepares a huge deal worth 200 million pounds

English club Arsenal is seeking to bolster its squad in the upcoming summer transfer window with strong deals aimed at strengthening the team in preparation for competing for the English Premier League title, which has eluded the club for a long time. The English newspaper, the Daily Mail, reported that Arsenal is working on completing three major deals during the next summer transfer window, with a total cost of up to 200 million pounds. The club is looking to sign the Spanish duo Martin Zubimendi of Real Sociedad and Neco Williams of Athletic Bilbao, in addition to signing striker Victor Gjokeres from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon. The report indicated that the team's priority in the transfer market is to sign a high-caliber defensive midfielder, with the club's management showing particular interest in signing Martin Zubimendi for around 50 million pounds. Meanwhile, new sporting director Andrea Berta and Emirates officials are studying the club's ability to afford a strong striker and a distinguished winger. The newspaper explains that Berta is aware that the team will need to sell some players to raise the necessary funds to finance the deals, especially regarding Gjokeres and Williams. With the likes of Jorginho and Thomas Partey set to leave at the end of the season, Arsenal will need to sign a defensive midfielder of Zubimendi's caliber to fill the void. The club is also looking to sign a new goalkeeper, with Espanyol's Juan Garcia topping the list of options. Up front, Arsenal are focusing on signing a quality striker to bolster their attack, especially after injuries to both Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz. Signing a new winger remains secondary, but the club is working to find a solution that will achieve both goals.
