Will Zidane become Juventus coach?

Italian club Juventus is seeking a replacement for its current coach, Thiago Motta, to lead the team in the next phase. The club's poor results in various competitions have led to its elimination from the Champions League and the Coppa Italia, as well as its early exit from the Serie A title race. Motta, the current Juventus coach, is facing significant pressure from fans and the media, especially after consecutive defeats in the Italian league against Atalanta and Fiorentina, which have left the team in fifth place with 52 points after 29 rounds of the competition. According to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is considered Juventus' dream coach to succeed Motta, but signing him would be a difficult decision. Since leaving Real Madrid in the summer of 2021, Zidane has not taken on any new coaching experience, despite receiving offers from clubs and national teams. Zidane's desire to coach the French national team after Didier Deschamps's term ends following the 2026 World Cup appears to have been a factor in his decision. Juventus' biggest challenge in appointing Zidane is the financial difficulty of securing his salary, especially if they have to pay compensation for Motta's termination.
