Gavi responds to news of his dispute with Flick
Barcelona midfielder Gavi has commented on rumors of a rift with coach Hansi Flick and the possibility of his departure from the team. Despite recently renewing his contract with the club until June 30, 2030, reports have circulated that he does not have the confidence of coach Flick. In statements to the Spanish newspaper Marca, Gavi said: "People make up a lot of stories, claiming that there are offers for me from other clubs." He continued: "But all this news is not true. I am happy at Barcelona, I signed a five-year contract and will remain loyal." Gavi concluded by saying: "Barcelona is the club I love, and I will stay here for as long as possible. The coach always rotates the players, and I feel completely comfortable because the coach has confidence in me and my abilities."
