Liverpool prepare to reward Arnold's successor

The British newspaper "The Sun" reported that Liverpool club has begun preparing for the possibility of losing one of its most prominent players next summer. The newspaper explained that the club is preparing for the departure of Trent Alexander-Arnold after the end of the current season. The newspaper indicated that the "Reds" have begun negotiations with young player Connor Bradley regarding a five-year contract renewal. It added that coach Arne Slot sees the Northern Irish defender as a potential long-term replacement for the English player, who is expected to move to Real Madrid next summer. The newspaper continued, saying: "Bradley has caught the eye since joining the starting lineup last season," noting that his previous contract, which he signed only 15 months ago, was for a limited period. Hence, the club is seeking to renew his contract for a longer period in light of the uncertainty of Alexander-Arnold's future. The newspaper also explained that Bradley's current contract extends until 2027, but Liverpool aims to sign a new contract with him until 2030. Reports confirmed that the 21-year-old player's salary is 10,000 pounds per week in his current contract, while the new offer is expected to rise to about 75,000 pounds per week, which means a 650% increase in his salary, thus making him at the level of the most experienced players in the first team.
