Messi leads Miami past Kansas in CONCACAF

Argentina star Lionel Messi led his American team, Inter Miami, to qualify for the second round of the CONCACAF League Championship, after renewing its victory over the Kansas City Wizards team with a score of 3-1, in the second leg match that brought them together early Wednesday at Inter Miami’s stronghold. Inter Miami had succeeded in winning the first leg match with a score of 1-0. Argentine star Lionel Messi began scoring in the second leg match after 19 minutes of the match, and Tadeo Allende and Luis Suarez added the second and third goals in the 45+1 and 45+3 minutes. Memo Rodriguez scored the only goal for Kansas City in the 63rd minute of the match. Inter Miami had opened the new season of the American League with a 2-2 draw with its counterpart, New York City.
