Paris Saint-Germain launches its international laboratory in Doha

Paris Saint-Germain announced the launch of its first international lab in Doha, during the Web Summit Qatar 2025 held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. This initiative aims to promote innovation and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies in the fields of sports technology, performance, and fan experiences. Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club, stated that “Paris Saint-Germain Labs represents a new step towards achieving our ambition to shape the future of sport. We seek to stimulate ideas that make a qualitative leap and enhance our global position in innovation, through cooperation with the most prominent innovators around the world. The launch of our first global lab in Doha aims to drive innovation globally and set new standards in the sports sector.” For his part, Jerry Neumann, Chief Innovation and Digital Officer at the club, indicated that “the opening of the labs is an important step in our innovation journey. The launch of the Innovation Lab in Doha reflects the significant impact that pioneering leadership and global collaboration can have in shaping the future of sport.” The lab is expected to be a strategic platform to support emerging technologies in the Middle East, allowing the club to collaborate with leading local and international startups, explore the latest developments in sports technologies and digital engagement, and develop solutions that can be applied on a global scale.
