Paris makes history in the Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain set several records after their historic 7-0 win over Brest in the Champions League play-off on Wednesday. Opta, a global statistics network, reported that the French capital club achieved the biggest victory in its history in all European competitions after its crushing 7-0 win. On the other hand, Stade Brest suffered the biggest defeat for a French club in the history of the Champions League. Paris Saint-Germain, led by coach Luis Enrique, also became the first team to score seven goals with seven different players in a single European match. The Parisian team secured its qualification to the Champions League round of 16 at the expense of Brest, after winning 3-0 and 7-0 in the first and second legs, and is awaiting the draw scheduled for Friday, which will determine whether Liverpool or Barcelona will be the capital club's next European opponent.
