Mbappe is a goal machine that never stops in the Champions League

French star Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid's striker, continues to break records in the Champions League, confirming his position as one of the most prominent strikers of the current generation. Mbappé scored a goal in Real Madrid's last-gasp win over host Manchester City in the first leg of the 2024-2025 Champions League round of 16. Since the French international's first appearance with Monaco in the 2016-2017 season, he has not stopped scoring goals and making history, as Mbappé has scored 52 goals in 82 matches in the tournament, placing him eighth on the list of Champions League top scorers throughout history. The former Paris Saint-Germain star holds many records that he achieved during his career in the prestigious European competition, the most prominent of which are as follows:
- Youngest player to score 10 goals: 18 years and 350 days.
- Youngest French player to score in a knockout match: 18 years and 63 days (against Manchester City, February 21, 2017).
- Youngest player to score more than one goal in a knockout match: 18 years and 113 days (vs Dortmund, 12 April 2017).
- Youngest player to score in two consecutive knockout matches: 18 years and 85 days (vs Manchester City, 15 March 2017).
