French star Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid's striker, continues to break records in the Champions League, confirming his position as one of the most prominent strikers of the current generation. Mbappé scored a goal in Real Madrid's last-gasp win over host Manchester City in the first leg of the 2024-2025 Champions League round of 16. Since the French international's first appearance with Monaco in the 2016-2017 season, he has not stopped scoring goals and making history, as Mbappé has scored 52 goals in 82 matches in the tournament, placing him eighth on the list of Champions League top scorers throughout history.
