Salah breaks new Liverpool record

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has achieved a historic achievement with Liverpool after becoming the team's top scorer in penalty kicks in the English Premier League. This came after he scored a decisive penalty kick in the match between Liverpool and Wolverhampton in the 25th round of the English Premier League, which ended with the Reds winning 2-1. In front of more than 61,000 fans at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool managed to win with difficulty over Wolverhampton, bringing the team's score to 60 points, moving away at the top of the league from its closest competitor, Arsenal, who has 53 points. Luis Diaz opened the scoring in the 15th minute for Liverpool, before Salah doubled his team's lead in the 37th minute via a penalty kick, while Brazilian Matheus Cunha reduced the difference for Wolverhampton in the 67th minute. With this goal, Mohamed Salah became the best penalty kick scorer in Liverpool's history in the English Premier League with 32 kicks, equal to the legend Steven Gerrard, according to the "This Is Anfield" platform. In all competitions, Salah has scored 42 penalties since joining the Reds, making him the club's second-highest scorer behind Gerrard, who has 47. Although Salah is level with Gerrard on the Premier League goalscoring charts, Gerrard holds the record for the total. Salah has managed 72 penalties for Liverpool in all competitions, taking 50 of them himself, leaving the rest to the rest of the team. Salah is also one of only three players in Liverpool history to score a penalty in a Champions League final, alongside Phil Neal and Xabi Alonso.
