For an additional year.. Al-Nassr extends Ronaldo's contract

Al-Nassr club has reached an agreement with the team's Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo to renew his contract for an additional year, according to press reports on Sunday. The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadh" reported that talks about extending Ronaldo's contract will continue upon its expiration, while maintaining the same financial details as in the previous contract. Al-Nassr signed Ronaldo on a free transfer in the winter of 2022, with a contract extending until the end of the current 2024-2025 season. Since joining, Ronaldo has won the King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs with "Al-Alamy" in 2023, and participated in 90 matches with the team in various tournaments, scoring 82 goals and making 19 assists. Ronaldo recently celebrated his 40th birthday, scoring his first goal in the new decade during his team's last match against Al-Fayha in the Saudi League. The Portuguese star continued to break records, scoring 88 goals with Al-Nassr, achieving the record for the player with the most goals scored in a single edition of the Saudi Professional League, surpassing the previous record held by Moroccan Abderrazak Hamdallah.
