Mohamed Salah signs new contract with Liverpool!

The future of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah is still being discussed, with speculation swirling about the possibility of his transfer to Saudi Al Hilal or renewing his contract with Liverpool. However, in a new development, English press reports revealed that the Egyptian Pharaoh has already signed a new contract with the Reds. Salah's current contract with Liverpool expires in June 2025, and the two parties have not yet reached an official agreement to renew it, which opens the door for Salah to move to any other club next summer as a free transfer. However, a report by the "Anfield Edition" website confirmed that Salah has already signed a new contract with Liverpool, to continue his career with the English team. In the same context, the report added that Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk has also signed a new contract with Liverpool, which guarantees his continuation with the team for a longer period. Meanwhile, the position of right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold remains unclear, as he has not agreed to renew his contract yet amid interest from Real Madrid, which expressed a desire to sign him, at a time when Liverpool rejected an offer from the Spanish club during the winter transfer period. On the sporting front, Mohamed Salah continues to perform brilliantly for Liverpool, scoring 21 goals in 23 Premier League games this season, achieving a new achievement in the scorers list. Salah has thus surpassed Chelsea legend Frank Lampard to consolidate his place in the list of the top scorers in the history of the English Premier League, where he is ranked sixth with 178 goals. As Liverpool continue to compete for four titles this season, the team is looking to achieve more victories with the end of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Tottenham, before the anticipated FA Cup match against Plymouth Argyle. The most important question on the horizon remains: Will Salah stay at Liverpool and sign a new contract, or will Al Hilal Saudi Arabia convince him to move to the Saudi Professional League?
