Saudi League targets Vinicius with "one billion euros"!

After Neymar's departure from the Saudi League, there seems to be a strong desire to sign another heavyweight star, as the Saudi League prepares to launch a strong "attack" during the next summer Mercato, targeting the signing of Brazilian Vinicius Junior, the Real Madrid star. According to the Spanish newspaper "AS", the total value of the deal is expected to be estimated at one billion euros, a huge sum that the Saudi League seeks to reach through a tempting offer. Omar Maghreb, CEO of the Saudi League, had previously indicated in previous statements that the Saudi League aspires to attract world-class players like Vinicius, saying: "We hope to see some interesting signings this summer. There are teams capable of attracting this type of player." According to the newspaper, there is a "clear intention" among Saudi clubs to sign Vinicius, and this intention will be translated into a "new attack" next summer. Reports indicate that the Saudi offer may exceed 300 million euros for Real Madrid, surpassing the record set by Neymar's deal with Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 (222 million euros). The newspaper also mentioned that Vinicius could get a huge sum in the Saudi League, where he is expected to earn one billion euros over 5 years, equivalent to 200 million euros per season. Although Vinicius insists that he is "happy at Real Madrid and wants to stay," such an offer could change even the most steadfast convictions. Real Madrid is currently sticking to the player's contract termination clause of one billion euros, but is ready to negotiate with the player at the end of the season to extend his contract and increase his salary, which is estimated at around 20 million euros per year. If Vinicius decides to request a transfer, Real Madrid will be ready to listen to offers, if the player wants to "improve his situation," as happened with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in the past.
