Al-Ahly decides its position on signing Ben Sharqi

Al-Ahly of Egypt has decided on its position regarding contracting with Moroccan winger Ashraf Bencharki, a player for the Qatari Al-Rayyan team, during the current winter transfer market.
A broker had offered Moroccan winger Ashraf Bencharki to Al-Ahly, but the player's high financial demands of $2 million annually caused the negotiations with him to be closed.
The former Zamalek winger has become out of the calculations of the Red Devils during the current winter transfer market.
Bencharki played for several clubs, most notably Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, Zamalek of Egypt, Wydad of Morocco, Al-Jazira of the Emirates, and he also played for Lens of France.
Al-Ahly was close to signing Gilson Dala, the winger for Al-Wakrah of Qatar, but the Angolan player rejected the idea of going out on loan until the end of the season.
