Chelsea continue to bleed points in the Premier League

Chelsea stumbled again in the English Premier League, as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday in the 21st round of the competition. The first half saw Chelsea take an early lead through young star Cole Palmer in the 13th minute, giving his team the advantage at the start of the match in front of their fans. But Bournemouth came back strongly in the second half, as they were able to equalize the score through a penalty kick executed by Justin Kluivert in the 50th minute, before Antoine Semino added the second goal for the visitors in the 68th minute to turn the tables on the Blues. While Bournemouth were getting closer to a deserved victory, Chelsea captain Reece James was able to equalize in the 95th minute to give his team a valuable point. With this draw, Chelsea continues the series of negative results with a third consecutive draw, failing to achieve victory for the fifth consecutive match, remaining in fourth place with 37 points. On the other hand, Bournemouth missed the opportunity to strengthen its position in the standings, dropping to seventh place with 34 points after its fifth draw this season.
