Barcelona crushes Real Madrid with five goals and wins the Super Cup

Barcelona achieved a crushing victory over its counterpart Real Madrid with a score of 5-2, during the match that brought the two teams together on Sunday evening at the "King Abdullah Sport City" stadium in Jeddah, in the final of the Spanish Super Cup, to crown the Catalan team with the title. Real Madrid took the lead through Kylian Mbappe in the fifth minute, and Yamal scored the equalizer for Barcelona in the 22nd minute. The second goal and the lead for Barcelona was added by its striker Lewandowski in the 36th minute, from the penalty spot, and Rafinha strengthened the third goal with a powerful header in the 39th minute. The fourth goal for Barcelona came through Alejandro Balde in the 45+9 minute, to end the first half with a score of 4-1, in favor of the Blaugrana. In the second half, Barcelona added a fifth goal in the 48th minute through Rafinha. In the 56th minute, goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was sent off after a strong intervention before the penalty area, so Rodrigo took advantage of the free kick and scored a second goal for the royal team. The remaining time did not witness any other events, and the match ended with Barcelona winning 5-2 and being crowned champions.
