New updates on the "Tamarin" educational platform of SC

The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy has announced a new package of updates to the “Tamreen” educational platform directed to school students in Qatar with the aim of developing their basic skills and fueling passion for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
The updated Tamreen website contains 25 packages of educational tools that cover various aspects of preparation for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, including legacy, sustainability and environmental preservation, and facilitated access to facilities and facilities for people with disabilities.
Khalid Ali al-Mawlawi, Head of Tournament Experience at the Supreme ... of the Supreme Committee for the delivery and the legacy, stressed that the e-learning platform “Tamareen”, launched by the Supreme Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, embodies its commitment to the importance of involving young people in planning the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️ and the preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™️. Ongoing to host the historic sporting event next year.
Al-Mawlawi added: “We at the Supreme Committee aim to inspire future leaders in Qatar by taking advantage of the power and impact of the World Cup, and through the “Tamareen” platform, we were able to share our plans with young people and help them gain a comprehensive understanding of the aspects of the sustainable legacy that the World Cup will leave for the State of Qatar, the region and the world. There is no doubt that the platform enhances the youth’s passion and enthusiasm for the most prominent football event in the world, which is now about one year away from us.”
For her part, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Fawzia Abdulaziz Al Khater, stressed the active role of the “Tamareen” platform in Qatar’s schools by enhancing students’ enthusiasm and passion for the major global event, and introducing them to the most important advantages of the tournament and the accompanying legacy programs of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy. To prepare for the tournament, she indicated the alignment of this program with the educational goals that schools, teachers, and parents aspire to achieve in Qatar.
Tamreen allows schools to receive special recognition based on their activity on the online interactive platform, with the opportunity to showcase students' skills and creativity by organizing several competitions.
The interactive platform "Tamarin" targets students between 8 and 18 years to develop their skills in the basic educational curricula, in addition to introducing them to the objectives of the Supreme Committee for the Development of Individual Skills, and the tangible positive change that the Qatar World Cup seeks to achieve at the level of individuals and communities inside and outside Qatar.
The platform contributes to enhancing the understanding of students, teachers and parents of various aspects of the World Cup, through a range of educational resources, including games, videos, tests and charts, which have been prepared to meet the needs of students in this age group.
Since the launch of Tamreen in 2019, the number of schools registered on the platform has exceeded 200 public schools and 20 private schools. The toolkit on the platform covers basic educational subjects, including mathematics, science, Arabic and English languages, social studies, as well as arts, in line with the national curriculum of the State of Qatar.
