Mohamed Salah agrees to renew his contract with Liverpool

English: English press reports revealed that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has reached an agreement with his English club Liverpool to sign a new two-year contract that will continue until 2025. Mohamed Salah's current contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2025. He joined the Reds in the summer of 2017 from Roma in a deal worth 42 million euros. The Mirror newspaper said that Mohamed Salah is close to signing a new two-year contract with his club Liverpool to end all doubts about his future at Anfield, after long negotiations that witnessed many periods of tension between the two parties, in light of the player's agent's insistence on a 3-year contract, while the club wanted a one-year contract. The newspaper reported that Fenway Sports Group, the owner of the English club, reached a settlement agreement with the 32-year-old Egyptian star after months of negotiations. The newspaper indicated that barring any last-minute hiccups, Mohamed Salah will sign a new two-year contract, which will also be good news for manager Arne Slot, who quickly realized that he had a real gem in the Reds team.
