PSG goalkeeper Navas to miss Costa Rica international break due to injury


Marca, Spain's highly influential daily sports newspaper, reported that the veteran goalkeeper suffered an injury with Paris Saint-Germain and will not be able to play with Costa Rica in the North American and Caribbean qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup due to an injury.The medical team of PSG had reported that Keylor Navas suffered an injury to his right elbow and will not be able to travel to join the national team. Costa Rica will face Canada on the road on 12 November and four days later will host Honduras. Costa Rica medical team explained that they received an injury report from Paris Saint-Germain and the medical staff confirmed that Keylor Navas suffered an injury to his right elbow and it started to get swollen after the game on Saturday. After a medical examination it was determined that Navas will not be able to play with Costa Rica next week.”“Marca” indicated that Keylor Navas will not be available for the Costa Rica team in the qualifiers for the World Cup, which is currently underway. The Spanish newspaper pointed out that Navas's absence from his national team will deprive him of winning the man of the match award in the last two matches of this year's World Cup qualifiers.
Immediately, Costa Rica coach "Oscar Ramirez" called Celor Kevin to replace Navas, after Christian Jambo was also injured.
