Mbappe resorts to the disciplinary committee!
French national team captain Kylian Mbappe has turned to the disciplinary committee of the French Professional Football League (LFP) to resolve his financial dispute with his former club Paris Saint-Germain. The dispute is due to the club's refusal to pay the player €55 million in unpaid wages and bonuses. A source close to the body said that a hearing will be held on December 11 to consider the case. The dispute dates back to an agreement reached in August 2023 between Mbappe and the Saint-Germain management, in which the player agreed to waive the aforementioned amount if he left for free at the end of the season, but the validity of this agreement was met with doubts by the player's camp. Paris Saint-Germain refused to comply with the order of the French League's legal committee to pay the amount, and the club appealed to the French Football Federation, but its request was rejected after it was submitted late. If the dispute continues, the French club could face a fine or a ban on signing new players. It is worth noting that Mbappe moved to Real Madrid last summer after refusing to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
