250 matches for Courtois with Real Madrid

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has achieved a new milestone in his career with the team, after playing his 250th match on Sunday evening against Getafe, which his team won 2-0. Courtois' career with the royal club began in 2018 amidst many doubts, but he quickly established himself as one of the main players thanks to his great brilliance. Courtois showed outstanding levels, as he kept a clean sheet in 40.8% of the matches he played with Real Madrid, thus coming close to equaling the record held by goalkeeper Vicente Train (41%), who played for the club between 1960 and 1964. Among Courtois' most notable moments with the team were his heroic saves in the Champions League matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, where he saved his team from many dangerous opportunities. Despite his long injury last season, the Belgian goalkeeper was able to return strongly, continuing to strengthen his position among the club's best goalkeepers throughout its history. With this achievement, Courtois ranks fifth in the list of goalkeepers with the most appearances in Real Madrid's history, behind Iker Casillas (725 matches), Paco Buyo (456 matches), Miguel Angel (347 matches), and Juan Alonso (295 matches).
