Ronaldo: Children are my passion and constant inspiration

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, a player for the Saudi Al-Nasr club, expressed his great happiness after his team's 3-1 victory over its host, Al-Gharafa of Qatar, in the match that brought them together in the AFC Champions League. Ronaldo scored two goals from Al-Nasr's three goals, strengthening the team's position at the top of the competition to qualify. The match witnessed a balanced start between the two teams, as the first half ended in a goalless draw. However, at the beginning of the second half, Ronaldo shone and opened the scoring with a distinctive header, before his teammate Angelo Gabriel added the second goal in the 58th minute. Ronaldo returned to strengthen Al-Nasr's lead with a third goal after only six minutes. In the 75th minute, the Spaniard Joselu reduced the difference by scoring Al-Gharafa's only goal. With this victory, Al-Nasr raised its score to 13 points from five matches, achieving its fourth consecutive victory, to temporarily rise to second place in the West Asia region standings, one point ahead of Al-Hilal. Al-Hilal is expected to face Al-Sadd of Qatar in a decisive match to determine the top positions. In his statements after the match, Ronaldo confirmed: "My first and last focus is to serve the team. My goals came thanks to the great teamwork. We played an excellent match against a very strong team, and we created many opportunities in both halves, which enabled us to achieve a three-goal victory." He added via the club's account on the X platform: "I dedicate my goals to the Al-Nassr fans and my fellow players. The presence of the fans and their happiness is what always motivates me, especially the children who fill the stands with their enthusiasm. Al-Gharafa is a special team, but we played with high quality." With this performance, Al-Nassr continues to prove itself as one of the most prominent candidates to win the AFC Champions League title this season, amid great public aspirations to achieve continental glory.
