Tottenham decide Son's future

English: Press reports revealed that the English club Tottenham Hotspur has made a decision regarding the future of the team captain, South Korean star Heung-Min Son, whose contract with the London club expires in the summer of 2025, since his transfer in the summer of 2015 from his German counterpart Bayer Leverkusen, in a deal worth 30 million euros. According to the British newspaper "The Telegraph", Tottenham Hotspur will activate the extension of the contract of its player Heung-Min Son, for one year at the club, which will keep him with the team until the end of the 2025-2026 season, under the leadership of the team's coach Ange Postecoglou, which coincides with his arrival to 11 years with the Spurs. The newspaper stated that the Tottenham coach was keen to keep the 32-year-old South Korean striker, who was appointed captain by the coach at the beginning of his first season with the club. Son achieved legendary status at Tottenham, scoring 165 goals and playing a pivotal role in helping the club qualify for the Champions League on several occasions. He has now scored three Premier League goals this season and registered his third assist of the season in Tottenham's shock 4-1 win over Aston Villa at the weekend.
