Musiala decides his future with Bayern

Bayern Munich striker Jamal Musiala has confirmed that the team aims to win the German Cup title after beating Mainz 4-0 in the round of 32 on Wednesday evening. Musiala said in his statements after the match, "Winning the title is everyone's goal. We have to play every game with the same mentality. There is no small or big game. Every game is a final. It's a good mentality to have." Regarding the possibility of extending his contract with the Bavarian team, the young star explained, "Yes, I can imagine that. We are in discussions. I am happy here." Musiala added, "I have a good relationship with all the technical staff, even the assistant coaches, and I am trying to build my fitness gradually after the injury, and regain the rhythm and enthusiasm in every game." He continued about coach Vincent Kompany's playing style, "I really like him. This is still the beginning of a new style under a new coach, so with each game we will get a better feel for him. We want to take a step forward with each game."
