Officially.. Manchester United decides to dismiss Ten Hag

English: Manchester United have announced the end of the relationship of Dutch coach Erik ten Hag with the team, in light of the club's recent decline in performance . In an official statement published by the club, it said: "We confirm that Erik ten Hag has left his position as first-team coach." Ten Hag has led the club since April 2022, where he achieved two local titles, the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024. The club also expressed its thanks to the Dutch coach, expressing their gratitude for what he provided during his time, and wishing him success in the future . In the meantime, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Ten Hag's assistant, will take over the team's training on an interim basis, with the support of the current technical staff, until a permanent coach is appointed . Manchester United currently ranks fourteenth in the English Premier League with 11 points, after the recent loss to West Ham United .
