French star Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid striker, commented on the recent accusations that he was involved in a rape incident while in Sweden during the current international break. Mbappe wrote on his official account on the "X" platform: "Fake news... and it was completely expected, before I learned about it by chance." Earlier today, Monday, French press reports stated that Swedish police had opened an investigation against the Royal Team striker, after a woman accused him of attempting to sexually assault her, at the hotel where the French star and his friends spent two days, last week. Mbappe went to the Swedish capital, Stockholm, with his friends for two days during the current international break, and had dinner at a restaurant in the city center. Pictures of the French captain leaving a nightclub sparked a lot of reactions while his country's national team was participating in the European Nations League.
