Lewandowski repeats Ronaldo's achievement in the Champions League

Polish star Robert Lewandowski led his team Barcelona to a big win over their guest, the Swiss team Young Boys, with five clean goals, in the second round of the Champions League. Lewandowski succeeded in scoring two goals out of Barcelona's five goals against Young Boys, raising his goal tally to 96 in the Champions League. The Opta network reported that Lewandowski is the second player in the history of the Champions League to score more than 50 goals after reaching the age of thirty, as he reached 51 goals after Cristiano Ronaldo's 68 goals. The Catalan team achieved its first victory in the Champions League during the current 2024-2025 season, after losing in the first round to its host, the French team Monaco, with two goals to one. Barcelona will host its counterpart, the German team Bayern Munich, in the third round of the Champions League in a revenge match.
