The "Opta" network reported that Real Madrid now has the second best unbeaten streak in the Spanish League with 39 matches (29 wins and 10 draws), surpassing Real Sociedad's record with 38 matches. Barcelona remains the record holder for the unbeaten streak in La Liga with 43 matches, which it achieved in 2018 (43 wins and 34 draws). The royal team occupies the second place in the Spanish League table during the current season with 17 points, behind Barcelona, the leader with 18 points, who will face Getafe on Wednesday evening. It is worth noting that Real Madrid is the title holder of the last edition of the Spanish League Championship.
