Haaland sets records after West Ham hat-trick
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland continued his impressive start to the new season of the English Premier League, after he managed to score a new hat-trick, this time against West Ham United, in the third round of the competition. Manchester City managed to achieve the full mark, by achieving their third consecutive victory in the Premier League, at the expense of West Ham, thanks to Haaland's hat-trick, which is his second this season, after he scored his first hat-trick against Ipswich Town. 1 - Erling Haaland is the first player to score a hat-trick in two of the first three matches for a team in the league in one season since Paul Jewell for Bradford in 1994-1995.
2 - Erling Haaland's six goals so far in 2024-25 are the most scored by a player in the first three matches of a team in the English Premier League in one season, along with his Manchester City teammate Edin Dzeko in 2011-12.
3 - Erling Haaland becomes the first player to score 7 goals after 3 rounds in the Premier League.
4 - Erling Haaland scored 19 goals in August in the English Premier League, which is his favorite month in the competition.
