Manchester sacks player after attacking Ten Hag!

Manchester United have reached an agreement to sell winger Facundo Pellistri to Greek side Panathinaikos. Pellistri joined United from Penarol in 2020 but has made just 25 appearances for the club in all competitions. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Granada, where he scored two goals and provided two assists in 15 appearances. According to the Mirror, United have reached an “agreement in principle” to sell Pellistri to Panathinaikos for around €10m (£8.5m). The news comes after Pellistri’s agent, Edgardo La Salvia, criticised United manager Erik ten Hag and said it would be “difficult” for him to stay at Old Trafford with the Dutchman in charge. “Whether he returns to Manchester in the middle of the year will depend on how he performs,” La Salvia told Sport 890 when asked about Pellistri’s future. “If Ten Hag stays, it will be difficult.” "Ten Hag didn't use him, didn't value him, didn't treat him like a professional," he added. Pellistri himself declined to criticise Ten Hag, but admitted he was open to leaving Old Trafford this summer in search of playing time.
