6 nominees for the best award from the Professional Footballers Association
The Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) has announced the nominees for the 2023-24 Premier League Player of the Year award. The PFA members have shortlisted six players for the award, which includes three Manchester City players, along with one each from Arsenal, Chelsea and Aston Villa. The nominees include Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and Rodri from Manchester City, Arsenal's Martin Odegaard, Chelsea's Cole Palmer and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins. The winner will be announced at the PFA Awards on August 20 at the Manchester Opera House. Earlier this year, Chelsea star Cole Palmer was named the Premier League Player of the Year, but this year's award is different as it is voted for by members of the players' union.
