Newcastle star decides his position on leaving

Brazilian Bruno Guimaraes, the star of Newcastle United, has decided his position on leaving the team during the current summer transfer period. Guimaraes said in statements published by the international network "The Athletic": "I never said that I wanted to leave, I always said that I wanted to put my name in the history of the club and that has not changed." The Brazilian international added: "I want to be in the Champions League again, I want to win something for the club. This is still my dream," explaining: "I am very happy. The coach has given me a great responsibility to be in the leadership group. I want to be a leader." There have been doubts about Guimaraes' future at Newcastle since the beginning of this summer, as the midfielder's contract contains a release clause of 100 million pounds.
