Sane out for start of season, Kane fit

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has announced that winger Leroy Sane will miss the start of the new season after undergoing hip surgery, while Harry Kane will be available for selection. Sane will need more time to recover, while Kane, who has been struggling with back problems, is expected to start in the German Cup match against Ulm on August 16. Eberl stressed that Kane, despite the sadness after the Euro 2024 final, will receive as much support as possible to make up for his loss last season.
