Manchester United Prepares To Dispense With 7 Players

Manchester United are set to offload up to seven first-team players, including wingers Anthony and Jadon Sancho, as the club undergoes a major overhaul under owner Jim Ratcliffe. The Red Devils have already made two major signings this summer, bringing in Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and French defender Lenny Yoro from Lille for a reported £88m. ESPN reports that manager Erik ten Hag wants to make at least three more signings in midfield, centre-back and right-back, with United still reportedly interested in Bayern Munich's Matthijs de Ligt, while Paris Saint-Germain's Manuel Ugarte has been linked with a move to Old Trafford. To fund further deals, the Premier League giants are considering offloading up to seven first-team stars, including Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Christian Eriksen, Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho. The FA Cup winners are also considering offering Sancho to Paris Saint-Germain, who are looking for a replacement for star player Kylian Mbappe, who joined Real Madrid on a free transfer.
