James Ends Sao Paulo Contract For Europe
Colombian star James Rodriguez has terminated his contract with his Brazilian club Sao Paulo, to be available as a free agent in the coming days, with the aim of returning to play in European leagues. Journalist Fabrizio Romano said on his page on the "X" platform: "James has terminated his contract with Sao Paulo and will be available as a free agent, and he terminated his contract by mutual agreement." He added: "He is about to separate from the club after the Copa America, James wants to return to European football." James shone in the last Copa America held in the United States of America and led Colombia to the final before losing to Argentina 1-0. James won the award for the best player in the tournament after scoring a goal and making six others during Colombia's journey to the final. The former Real Madrid playmaker did not perform at his usual level with the Brazilian team, so he decided to leave.
