QFA discusses the future of football at the FIFA Consultation Summit

Mr. Mansoor Al-Ansari, Secretary-General of Qatar Football Association, participated in the first online FIFA consultation Summit on the future of global football. The FIFA Summit has stated the most inclusive and thorough consultation process that the world of football has ever seen on a global basis” during the first FIFA member associations online summit to address the need for reforms to the current international match calendars (IMC) as mandated by the 71st FIFA Congress in May 2021. 211 FIFA member associations and 32 FIFA Council members receive update and provide feedback in relation to the future of football.
Mansoor Al Ansari, General Secretary of the QFA also took part in the fourth meeting of the AFC Finance Committee - as a member of the committee - which was held virtually via video communication technology, and the meeting was chaired by Mariano Araneta Junior, with the participation of all members of the Committee.
Meanwhile, Secretary-General of Qatar Football Association (QFA) Mansour Al Ansari participated in the fourth meeting of the Finance Committee of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), which was held virtually under the chairmanship of Mariano Araneta.
The participants approved the minutes of the third meeting, which was held on September 8, 2020, and reviewed the agenda of the third meeting. They emphasized on the support for member national federations, in addition to approving the 2021 budget
