Liverpool Goalkeeper Moves To Real Betis

Spanish goalkeeper Adrian San Miguel, who played for Liverpool in recent seasons, underwent medical tests yesterday, Sunday, in a clinic in Seville, and in the next few hours the official announcement will be made about his joining Real Betis, the club to which he returns after eleven years. Adrian himself yesterday posted a farewell message on social networks to the fans of Liverpool, the club that offered him a renewal despite the fact that he has rarely played in the last three seasons, due to the great charisma he has in the Reds' dressing room. Adrian has long dreamed of returning to Real Betis, and the opportunity came to him at the age of 37, because after training in the lower ranks of Betis, he played only one season in the first team, under Pepe Mel, in 2012-13, and achieved qualification for the UEFA Cup. Adrian's signing for Betis will certainly be announced on Monday, as will Diego Llorente, and both should be among those called up by Manuel Pellegrini to leave on Wednesday for the first phase of the pre-season in Austria.
