Nistelrooy Joins Manchester United

Former Dutch star Ruud van Nistelrooy has signed a two-year contract with English club Manchester United, to be an assistant to his compatriot Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils' coach, in training the team. Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano said on his page on the "X" platform: "Nistelroy is currently in Manchester to be unveiled as the new assistant coach for Manchester United." He added: "A two-year contract has already been signed, and both Van Nistelrooy and Rene Hack will be part of Erik ten Hag's new staff." Manchester United signed Erik ten Hag in the summer of 2022, coming from his Dutch counterpart Feyenoord, on a 3-year contract. Previous press reports indicated that Manchester United had renewed confidence in its coach Erik ten Hag, despite the trend towards his departure after the end of the current season.
