Ronaldo: I Feel Sad And Happy At The Same Time

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, striker for Saudi club Al-Nasr, commented on his country's qualification to the quarter-finals of the Euro 2024 Championship, currently being held in Germany, at the expense of the Slovenian national team, on penalties 3-0, after the regular and extra time ended in a goalless draw. Ronaldo spoke after the end of the match, saying: "I feel sad and happy at the same time, but the important thing is to enjoy this team that did an exceptional job." He added: "Even the strongest people go through their bad days. I was at rock bottom when the team needed me the most." Ronaldo continued: "Sad at the beginning and happy at the end, this is football, inexplicable moments." Cristiano Ronaldo concluded his speech: "We fought until the end, and if you analyze the match, I see that we deserved it because we were the most dominant."
