Messi On MLS All-Star Game Roster

Lionel Messi leads a 30-man roster for the MLS All-Star Game, set for July 24 in Columbus, Ohio, against the best talents from the Mexican league. This is Messi’s first appearance on the All-Star roster, as he plays his first full season with Inter Miami after joining them in July 2023. In addition to Messi, the roster includes his Miami teammates Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. The roster includes players from 18 MLS clubs, with Columbus Crew leading the way with five players, followed by Inter Miami with four. Messi had a great start to his MLS career last season and has continued his success this term, scoring 12 goals and providing 13 assists in his first 12 games of 2024, becoming the fastest player to contribute to 25 goals in a season.
